<p>The demountable ladder is made up from four or more component sections interconnected by lockable pairs of hinges, and incorporating four end pieces for insertion into the bars as in 2509064. The inner half (5b) of the hinge joint, at the hole (11) where the outer half is connected, between the side pieces (22), is fitted with a socket (26) connecting the holes; and the hole in the outer half has an edge standing on a ring collar (30) for passage of the locking bolt (14). Both hinge halves incorporate cutouts (27) on the side pieces (22) designed to reduce the weight.</p> |
