Roller drive feed unit for data cards - uses pairs of transport rollers with intermediate stabiliser rollers on same axle as one drive group

The data cards (6) are fed by roller drives aligned on two parallel spindles with horizontal axes (2). The lower spindle supports three rollers which mate with similar rollers on the upper spindle. The latter has in addition two stabiliser rollers (5) of slightly larger diameter than the feed rollers. The cards fed out pass to a reception shelf (1) with a sloping back wall (7) with a concave surface (8). The stabiliser rollers are freely running on the horizontal spindle on which they are accommodated. The system is especially relevant to punch cards used in data processing systems.
