The valve needles (12, 12') are pressed onto their valve seating surfaces (21, 21') and raised from them by means of hand wheels (25). The outlet bores (14, 16) extend transversely to the valve needles (12, 12'). Between each of the valve seating surfaces (21, 21') of the housing and the associated outlet bores there is a pressure chamber (13) in the form of a bore (15) surrounding the valve needle in a leaktight manner. As a result, the release of the flow takes place in two stages and cavitation phenomena at the valve seating surfaces (21) are thereby avoided. <IMAGE>
