摘要 The cylinder head contains the inlet and exhaust valves so arranged that the adjoining exhaust ports can be siamesed to conserve heat before entering the exhaust gas reactor. A secondary air injection system feeds additional air via two jets to the exhaust ports. A depression dependent regulator valve permits a part of the exhaust gases to re-enter the combustion chambers at a ratio of between 1:13.5 and 1:22.5 at normal working conditions. In order to stabilise the combustion rate swing to the introduction of the inert exhaust gases, two spark plugs are provided to each cylinder. The two spark plugs positioned so that the sparks form an angle of 110 deg. - 180 deg. in respect to the cylinder boring centre axis. The combustion chamber is semi-spherical and formed inside the cylinder head. Each spark plug is able to respectively ignite one half of the combustion chamber volume to effectively shorten the flame spread distance and therefore increase the combustion rate.
