Spring bracket for brake plate mounting pins - has pair of spaced clips to return brake pad and prevent vibration noise

The brake pad plate assembly (14, 15) of a disc brake, is located on two parallel mounting pins (9). A return spring (1) with U-shaped cross section is installed on the mounting pins such that it also covers the free end of the brake pad plate (14). The return spring member (2) has location holes which provide a press fit on the mounting pins. When the brake is operated, the offset section of spring member (2) is deflected over a distance that equals the brake pad movement. The released pad plate is returned by the spring (1) and held in a position which prevents vibrations and thus eliminates a source of noise.
