<p>The elements located within a filter housing hang vertically from a support plate, their open top ends communicating with the clean gas outlet chamber above this plate. The elements are arranged in rows, the clean gas housing being sub-divided correspondingly so that each row in turn may be back-blown for cleaning. The elements hang through mounting nozzles in the support plate and each element may be individually inspected or withdrawn upwards through this plate, the top cover of the housing having suitable access openings. Used in multiple element filters for the cleaning of dusty gases which use backflowing for element cleaning.</p> |
