1465464 Vehicle wheel covers J CONNELL 26 June 1975 27167/75 Heading B7C A decorative cover 12 for a vehicle wheel is attachable to the wheel disc by double-sided adhesive tape 40 including a resilient body. The cover is radially spaced from the wheel rim so that radial deflections of the rim in use do not affect the cover. In a preferred embodiment the cover 12 is made of plastics material. Ventilating apertures (20) (Fig. 1, not shown) are provided in the cover, and the latter also includes radial ribs (16) and holes 38 for alignment with both receiving holes 36 in the wheel disc. The central aperture of the cover receives a metal hub-cap 14. The tape may be an annulus (Fig. 1, not shown) or a plurality of circumferentially spaced pieces (42) (Fig. 3, not shown) and the wheel is made of steel.
