Apparatus for conveying asphalt concrete mixtures

Disclosed is apparatus for conveying asphalt concrete materials from a loading station to a dispensing section of a road resurfacing machine. The conveying apparatus is provided with a loading area for receiving asphalt concrete mixtures and conveying the mixtures first in one direction for a short distance over a fixed platform from which it falls to a trough where the mixtures ae moved in the opposite direction along the bottom of the trough by a lower conveyor flight comprising a plurality of spaced apart bar elements associated with the conveyor.
