Before freeze-drying, the moisture content may be "stabilized", i.e. gradually reduced to a level at which it remains substantially the same under normal storage conditions. This may be achieved by treatment in a low humidity chamber or exposure to sunlight. Seeds specified are onion, parsley, pepper, egg plant, cucumber, beans, peas, tomatoes, sweet peas, stringless beans, lettuce, parsnip, corn, ocre, cantaloup, wheat, barley, oats, soyabean, cabbage, Aquileagia, Aster, Poppy, Delphinium, Larkspur, Marigold, Salvia, Snapdragon, and Zinnia.</p> |
