PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To issue a card by coloring a plurality of colors at an embossed character of the card and further selecting the chipping color. SOLUTION: This system comprises a card conveyor 5 for conveying a card, a presser 21 for pressing a color ribbon to an embossed part of the card conveyed by the conveyor 5, a ribbon driver 6 for sending the ribbon and winding it, and a controller 4 for controlling the conveyor 5 and driver 6 based on a chipping command transmitted from a host unit to transfer the effective parts of the card and ribbon to the presser 21 and driving the presser 21. And, the controller 4 has a color select control means 8 for controlling the driver when a chipping color is designated from the host unit and controlling to send the same color region as the chipping color of a plurality of color regions of the color ribbon, and a pressing operation setting means 7 for setting an operation of the presser 21 in response to the color designated by the host unit. |
