A cyan coupler of the formula A - NHCO(CF2CF2)nH wherein A is a phenolic or naphtholic cyan coupler residue and n is a positive integer of 1 to 7, incorporated in a light-sensitive silver halide photographic material produces a cyan dye photographic image which is favorable in light absorption characteristics and excellent in fastness when the coupler is developed with an aromatic primary amine type developing agent.
