A method of making a solar cell or other semiconductor junction devices including the process of diffusing an impurity of a first type conductivity into the front surface of a semiconductor bulk material while simultaneously alloying and diffusing an impurity of a second type conductivity into the back surface of the semiconductor bulk material from a metallic source.
