Vitamin-containing, mineral seasoning agent for animal is made by (a) homogenously mixing powdered mineral salts, phosphates, magnesia and, opt. urea and trace element salts, with vitamins, (b) pre-compacting the mixture formed in (a), (c) moulding (b), and (d) grinding and sieving (c). Previous processes for producing these granules have involved large energy consumption and/or degradation of vitamin A. This process yields granules of appropriate size having the requisite hardness, vitamin content and homogeneity.
