PURPOSE:To improve the dimensional precision, etc., of an injection-molded article by using a powdery org. material having a specified grain diameter at room temp. as the binder at the time of mixing an org. binder into ceramic powder to produce the ceramic injection-molding material. CONSTITUTION:A powdery org. material (e.g. polystyrene resin) having <=1mm grain diameter at room temp. is prepared as an org. binder. The org. binder and ceramic powder (e.g. silicon nitride powder) are mixed to produce a ceramic injection-molding material. As a result, since the powder of the org. binder is compatible with the ceramic powder, both powders are easily and uniformly mixed. Accordingly, when the material is injection-molded, a molded body having uniform density is obtained. Furthermore, when the molded body is sintered, the body is uniformly contracted, and a sintered body having high dimensional precision and sufficient density is obtained. |
