<p>The multi-cell service module for use in hospitals, can be duspended from the ceiling and be installed above beds in an intensive care unit. The module comprises six steel sheet members of flanged 'U' section which are spot welded longitudinally together into a compound section of rectangular cross-sectional outline. the module is suspended by two tube hangers which house incoming service cables etc. Separate service functions are accommodated in each of the tubular sections. All steelwork may be electro-zinc plated and the open faces of the 'U' sections all face the exterior. These open faces are each closed by a demountable elongated cover strips.</p> |
