Presentation pack moulded from single plastics sheet - has snap action edge to lock article into tray portion

A presentation package is manufactured from a single sheet of plastics material (4) using a mould (13) which has the required shape. The material is moulded by gas pressure through the holes in the lid (16) increased by the vacuum exerted on the base (13). When the article is moulded the catch (14) is upright with the edge (15) as far to the right as possible. When moulding is completed the lid is removed after the supply of gas has been cut off. The catch (14) which has formed the burr (4) in the pack is moved out of the way by rotating it about the axis (18) and against the action of spring.
