<p>The gear change mechanism incorporates an interlock key (16) fixed to its shaft (2). The key has two radial arms (17,18) with a radial peg between them, and a support (M) has two balls or rollers which interact with inclined surfaces on the arms. The internal control mechanism, designed to shift mobile gear change components (10,11,12), consists of a control shaft (2) with a fixed transverse peg (5) which interacts with the mobile components selectively, and an interlock key (16) which is fixed axially relative to the shaft (2) but cannot rotate, while a support (M) for the mobile components is located between the key and the peg. The key comprises two radial arms (17,18), between which the peg is able to rotate, and the support has two balls or rollers which are carried by the and interact with facing inclined surfaces on the arms.</p> |
