Door-panel for a fire-door has a special closing section along the edges. The facing-plates (7) attached to each side for the door are linked together around the closing area by 2 section profiles, each plate being individually fastened to the profiles by welding or riveting. Use of this section eliminates the possibility of heat transferring from one side of the door to the other around the closing edges, and therefore increases the fire-resistant properties of the door.
