<p>The hydraulic control unit has at least two control slides, to supply hydraulic fluid to two consumers. A supply conduit is associated with all the slides, and has primary and secondary pressure limiters. These include an electromagnetic proportioning pressure control valve, positioned in a hydraulic connection between the supply and return conduits. Each control slide has an associated electrical switch, which is connected to the magnet of the valve. One switch is in parallel with the other switch and has a potentiometer to alter its resistance, in series with the magnet. The pressure control valuve and a parallel pressure limiting valve act as servo valves to a main valve, switched into the connection between supply and return conduits.</p> |
