<p>In a rope conveyor having wire rope with a series of parallel windings guided in thread-type grooves in the periphery of the guide drums and forming an endless surface, the drivable guide drums are interconnected so as to have equal angular velocities. Used esp. for the transport of tread plies for pneumatic tyre mfr., in which the plies can be sprayed with adhesive without the problems of build-up on e.g., the rollers of roller conveyors.</p> |
