Transfer device moving metal compacts from sintering furnace - to second furnace prior to hot forging

A reciprocating clamp moves in an air-lock duct between the chambers. The clamp is fitted on two bars driven along the duct by a main driving unit, whereas a second drive unit opens and closes the clamping arms. The result is that parts can be picked up in the first chamber of the furnace and then released in the second chamber. Several alternate mechanical devices may be used for the second drive unit, including a work cylinder, whereas the main driving unit is pref. a work cylinder.
