<p>A refractory brick suitable for lining a cement kiln has a trapezoidal cross section with an outer side longer than the inner side and a recess in the outer side fitted with a highly insulating refractory for abutting the kiln wall. The recess optimises the props. of the both matls., (i.e. brick and refractory matl.) the remaining part of the brick forming legs which support the brick against the kiln wall and the highly insulating refractory providing additional insulation.</p> |
