PURPOSE: To obtain a pigment having improved mechanical resistance and chemical resistance by incorporating mineral oxides and dyes in such a manner that at least a part of the dyes is included in the mineral oxides. CONSTITUTION: The powder contains mineral oxides and dyes, and at least a part of the dyes is included in the mineral oxides. The mineral oxides are selected from oxides or hydroxides of aluminum, titanium, zirconium and silicon. To produce the color pigment, a reaction medium containing the precursors of the mineral oxides and at least one kind of dye is prepared to cause coprecipitation or crystallization of the oxides and the dye. Then the produced pigment and the liquid phase are separated from the reaction medium. Thereby, the obtd. pigment has improved mechanical resistance and chemical resistance. |
