Large circular demountable segmented storage tank erection - using movable bearing block with roof supports on integral central column

The large circular storage tank, is made up from individual segments which can be assembled into sections, with a base and a roof. The top section is first assembled on the floor, and with the roof, is raised by means of a hoist mounted on a central column, another section then being attached beneath it. Hee the central column (11) forms a firm component of the tank (1). The hoist device mounted on it engages a bearing block (8) which can be moved vertically to it; the block has radial roof supports (9) attached to it, connected to the tank. The movable bearking block may embrace the column, and may have provision on top for setting a cover in place.
