Textile strip wet treatment appts. - incorporates baffle plate to equalise treatment of strip by circulating liquor

The textile amterial is passed over >=1 suction opening in a vessel contg. a treatment liquor. The drawn-off liquor is recycled via an inlet pipe opening into the bottom of the vessel. This process is improved by installing a baffle plate situated above a heating grid, between the inlet pipe and the section of the textile material which travels horizontally past the suction opening. The baffle plate ensures a more uniform treatment of the textile strip with the liquor.
