<p>The hook is fastened to a strap, which in turn is fastened to the wrist of the user. The hook corresponds to the inner palm surface, and serves to hook the hands to the mast of wind surfers, wind gliders, etc. The force, which so far had to be accommodated by the hands, is transmitted by the hook to the wrist and lower arm. The steel hook is attached to the arm with fibre leather or wire. At the lower end of the hook there is an oval shaped protrusion which prevents the hook from turning.</p> |
