<p>The installation is for the continuous transfer of items of material through and within the interior of airtight chambers with varying atmospheric pressures. The installation has at least one airtight chamber (2) for the processing of the materials arranged between an inlet channel (1) and an outlet channel for the holders. Each holder is fitted with a sealing element (4) which works in conjunction with the interior wall of the channels and each channel is connected through a pipe (5) with a vacuum producing unit. Devices (6) drive the holders along both channels, with installations (9) to separate the holders during their entry into the airtight chamber with devices to move the holders in the interior of the chamber and installations to reconnect the holders during their exit from the chamber.</p> |
