The slatted straw-walker (1) is driven by crank-shafts mounted in the sides of the combine-harvester. The vibrating surface (5) of the straw-walker (1) is on two levels, so as to increase the grain-separating surface. The vertical pieces (6, 7) of the vibrating-surfaces (5) have gaps (8). Metal guide-plates (9) are fitted into these gaps. The bottom level of the vibrating surface (5) has larger gaps whereas the top level (11) has narrower gaps. This provides a more thorough separating of the corn.
