In order to obtain a compact hydraulic power unit for operating the door, at least one (3) of the leaves (2, 3) of the door supports the power unit (15) composed of a reversible electric motor which operates a hydraulic pump supplying a double-acting jack. The jack comprises two pistons joined together by means of a rack which meshes with a pinion keyed onto a pin (30), rotation of which in either direction tends to cause rotation of a sleeve (35) which is keyed onto the pin (30) and in which there slides a rod (36) having one end hinged with fixed parts. Since rotation of the sleeve (35) is impeded by the presence of the rod (36), the result is rotation of the rod (36) and at the same time sliding of the sleeve (35) on the rod (36) which results in movement of the leaves (2, 3) of the door. <IMAGE> |
