1464824 Junction boxes CAVIS-CAVETTI ISOLATI SpA 25 June 1975 [17 July 1974] 26972/75 Heading H2E A junction box for a motor vehicle comprises a body 1 made of plastics material and having a rearwardly extending protrusion 3, a base 13 and an intermediate plate 16 slidably mounted in the grooves 12 and 15 of the body respectively, a transparent cover 26 being screwed in position and an end wall 18 being snapped then screwed on to the body thus retaining the slidable members, there being electrical connector elements (not shown) on outside of portions 13a and 18a of the base and end wall respectively connecting external conductors to internal flexible printed circuit conductors and thus to actuating elements 30 such as relays, electromagnets, and remote control switches and printed circuit fuses (Fig. 5, not shown) carried on the intermediate plate. Good contact between the printed circuit conductors and the printed circuit fuses is enhanced by the protruding connectors 38, 39. The printed circuit fuses are held in contact with the printed circuit conductors under fuse support plates 33 by levers 40, but they may be inspected on pivoting the fuse support plates upwards. The assembled junction box can be snapped into a suitably shaped hole in the bulkhead of a vehicle by means of the flange 20 and teeth 23 and then be screwed in place using the lugs 8, 10.
|
