A tooth paste composition comprises 70-80 wt.% lauryl sodium sulfate, 3-5 wt.% sodium sacharin and 17-25 wt.% sodium carboxymethyl cellulose as a major component (A), and 90-95 wt.% sorbitol of 20-30% water content and 5-10 wt.% peppermint as an auxiliary component (B) [mixing wt. ratio of A and B is 8:2-9:1 . The tooth paste compsition has a good cleaning effect and has not a fluidity.
