PURPOSE:In the treatment of waste liquors from the fiber industry containing sulfuric acid roots by burning the liquors into flues and burnt ash, the sulfuric acid roots are converted, prior to burning, into insoluble salts which do not decompose by burning so that the burnt ashc an be used effectively as a material for construction or as an adsorption material.
