Clock time-keeping measuring device - has reference pulse source and two counters controlled by ticking detectors

The device measures the accuracy of timepiece movements of differing frequency. It employs a reference pulse source (2) and two counters (3, 4), together with detectors (5, 6, 7) of the ticking of the timepiece movement. The first counter (3) is released by the odd ticks of the timepiece movement and reset to zero by the even ticks, until stopped by a reference pulse. The other counter (4) is released by the even ticks of the timepiece movement and by a reference pulse and reset to zero by the odd ticks. It is stopped by the even tick immediately following the reference pulse. The contents of the counter with the lowest count and the reference pulses are displayed.
