PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank wherein durability can be kept well at a low cost. SOLUTION: An underground tank 1 is placed on base concrete 2. A tank body 3 of the underground tank 1 includes a bottom plate 4, a side wall 5 and a ceiling wall 6. The bottom plate 4 is fixed on the base concrete 2 via an anchor bolt. A first lining material 9 is coated on an upper face of the bottom plate 4. A lower end of the side wall 5 is welded and fixed on the bottom plate 4. A second lining material 10 is coated on an internal face of the side wall 5. A third lining material 11 is welded and fixed over the first lining material 9 and the second lining material 10. A fourth lining material 12 is coated on an external face of the side wall 5. Sulfate-resisting concrete 15 is placed along an entire periphery of the lower end on the external face of the side wall 5. The sulfate-resisting concrete 15 is reinforced by reinforcing bars. The sulfate-resisting concrete 15 has resistance to water, resistance to erosion and resistance to corrosion.
