FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: device is used for physiotherapeutic irradiation of spatially extended pathologies by light with aid of matrix of laser or light-emitting diode sources positioned on base surface which form is similar to that of pathologic zone. Auxiliary device contains locks and holder for attachment of base relative to biological object. Provision is made for auxiliary modules designed to control temperature, pressure and gas composition above area of pathology. Radiation source may also be represented by chemical reactions accompanied by bright luminescence of reaction products. Power supply unit may be independent with external remote power supply through pulse magnetic field. Provision is made for optically-transparent cap for localization of pathology, as well as for radiation-dispersing gaskets to facilitate more uniform irradiation of biological object. Device enhances efficiency of light therapy for treatment of different pathologies on surface of biological object, including dermatology, cosmetology, treatment of traumas, contusions and edemas.
