The screw component has a body (18) with outer surface (40) and endface (20). There is a key receiving configuration (28) in a region of the endface for screwing the screw in and out by means of a screwdriver or a special tool. The endface has a recess in it, in the bottom surface of which the key receiving configuration is made. There are truncated-cone surface regions (24,38) widening from the bottom surface towards the endface. The key receiving configuration may be in the form of a meandering groove.
