PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture coating fluid for forming a electrophotographic photoreceptor having good stability, while maintaining crystalline forms of titanyloxyphthalocyanine and to provide the electrophotographic photoreceptor high in sensitivity and superior in repetition characteristics by using this coating fluid. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic photoreceptor is provided on a conductive substrate with a photosensitive layer formed by using the coating fluid prepared by dispersing the titanyloxyphthalocyanine having a maximum peak in Bragg angle (2θ±0.2 deg.) of 27.2 deg. to the X-rays of CuKα1.541Å, together with a styrene-butadiene copolymer resin into a solvent.
