PURPOSE:To copy contents of a disk loaded to a disk storage device without detaching the disk storage device of an information processor in the trouble state from the information processor by providing a reset switch means which can be operated from the external. CONSTITUTION:An information processor 10 is provided with a reset switch 18 which can be operated from the external. When the reset switch 18 is turned on, a reset signal R2 equal to a reset signal R1 generated by a reset generating circuit 17 is generated, and the operation of a CPU 11 and a disk controller 14 is stopped. Consequently, an external device 23 can be the master of a bus 16 and can access a hard disk device 13 incorporated in the information processor in the trouble state. Thus, contents of the disk loaded to the hard disk device 13 are copied by the external device 23 without detaching the hard disk device 13 from the information processor 19. |
