1424206 Lighting fittings ERCO-LEUCHTEN GmbH 7 May 1973 [9 May 1972] 21545/73 Heading F4R A suspended ceiling arrangement comprises at least two parallel ceiling support rails 10 spaced apart by at least two distance struts 12, an electrical busbar 16 supported in recesses 15 in the struts, a socket fitting 19 for one or more fluorescent lamps plugged into a socket 18 in the busbar, a reflector positioning frame 25, 26 adapted to be inserted from below between the rails 10, and a reflector 31 adapted to be inserted from below into the frame. The rails 10 are of inverted T-shaped cross-section having arms 10a supporting ceiling boards 11 and a stem which terminates in a rounded head 10b. The struts 12 are of inverted channel section and have downwardly open recesses (13) which engage the stems of the rails 10 and retaining springs 14a, 14b which grip the rails. The positioning frame comprises two angle members 25 and two U-shaped channel members 26, one of the members 25 having resilient support tongues 28 which rest on one of the arms 10a and the other member 25 having bolts 29 which can be engaged over an arm 10a of the opposite rail. The reflector has an apertured catch plate 33 adapted to engage a catch pin 24 on the socket fitting 19 and a fixing tongue 36 adapted to project through a locking aperture 30 on the frame. |
