<p>Mine heading machine with crawler base and mounted power pack, boom swivel table and cutter drum both turning round horizontal axes off hydraulic power, has a conveyor to remove spoil between the crawlers onto the main clearance belt behind the machine. A rocker frame (17) around the entire crawler base (1) can pivot on the chassis of the machine round an axis (18) set further back than the rocker centre and at right angles to the heading. A slide fastener type T shaped conveyor (15) is placed inside the rocker area (17) so that the conveying part (16) runs back under the chassis and between the crawlers to where it is carried on a crossbar (20) forming part of the rocker frame. The rocker frame can have a loading chute (14) shead of the crawler base, extending over the crawler width, together with longitudinal beams (19) outside the crawler gauge and running back to the crossbar (20).</p> |
