Compounds of the formula I which lower blood pressure and reduce the heart rate <IMAGE> are prepared, in which each of the symbols Ar1, Ar2 and Ar3 denotes a phenyl radical which is unsubstituted or substituted by one or more lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, trifluoromethyl, nitro, amino, mono-lower-alkylamino or di-lower-alkylamino, aminomethyl, mono-lower-alkylaminomethyl or di-lower-alkylaminomethyl groups or one or more halogen atoms, Ph is a phenylene radical which can optionally be substituted by one of the substituents mentioned for Ar1 and n is a number from 0 to 4, and each of the symbols m and p represents a number from 1 to 4, r is the number 1 or 2, and R1 is hydrogen or hydroxyl, and salts of these compounds. These are obtained by reduction of a compound which contains the group of the formula -CO-Cp-1H2p-2- in place of the group -CpH2pin the formula. |
