PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the speed of a process in which character pattern data or the like are pasted with a desired size and a desired interval in a printing device and a display device. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a memory means 1, which writes dot pattern data having a certain size for every row as they are and reads the data with a bit length that differs from the writing, a means 2, which successively conducts parallel/serial conversions for the data that are read from the means 1, and a means 3 which successively receives the outputted serial data of the means 2, conducts a bit shifting and outputs in a prescribed bit unit.
