PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the setting operation of a comparison level to shorten setting time by preventing malfunction in the case of detecting perforation at the time of feeding film. SOLUTION: A film detection means consisting of a film detection circuit 3 and a film sensor 3a is disposed at a position where the perforation provided on film passes in the case of feeding the film, compares output from the film detection means with the desired comparison level, and detects the perforation by a perforation detection means constituted of a control circuit 1 based on the compared result. Then, the desired comparison level is set by a control means constituted of the control circuit 1 based on the output from the film detection means.
