<p>The rotary piston compressor has a cage rotor, which is located in an outer housing provided with inlet (4) and outlet (5) apertures. Over the circumference of the rotor are distributed recesses, and inside it is a comb rotor, on the outer circumference of which are teeth which come into combing engagement with the recesses in the cage rotor. Between the cage and comb rotors is an inner housing. The circumference line of the comb rotor (7) overlaps that of the cage rotor (6). This provides for an adequate seal in the engagement area of the two rotors and between them and the outer housing.</p> |
