Steam iron with water supply control valve - with no drop in steam output and with uniform exit of steam at sole plate

Steam iron comprises a water tank and an aveporator chamber, and a valve for controlling supply of water to the evaporator chamber. Between the valve outlet and the evaporator chamber is a tubular connector. This is in contact with the heating element or the heated sole plate. Pref. the connector is curved, and its outlet end is bevelled. Water can pass from the valve to the evaporator chamber without obstruction by steam bubbles, and steam comes out of the sole plate uniformly. The amount of steam produces is independent of the degree of filling of the water tank. Even when the tank is almost empty, the amount of water required for steam production is drawn in via the drip valve and tubular connector and uniformly conveyed into the evaporator chamber without obstruction.
