Adaptor ring for stacking round objects - has opposite axial collars of unequal diameters for object location

An adaptor ring, made from plastic is used to stack objects which are of unsuitable shape for stacking. The ring has an internal radial flange (5) which is located in a central axial position. To one side of the flange, an axial collar (6) is formed which is used to locate the smaller diameter of the object that is being stacked. The collar is then wrapped over and taken axially back past the centre flange (5). This produces a second cylindrical collar (9) of increased diameter. The larger diameter of the object fits into this collar so that positive radial location between neighbouring objects is obtained.
