PURPOSE: A method for processing a remote feature control(RFC) function of incoming calls in a mobile switching center(MSC) of a mobile communication system, is provided to make a subscriber connect a network with a specific number set for the RFC function by using a mobile terminal of another person or a wired telephone set, and to input a specific code designating a terminal number and a password of an object self terminal, so as to change annexed service information of the self terminal without using the self mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A specific number is set up to supply a remote feature control(RFC) function for activating/deactivating an operation of an annexed service by using a terminal of another person without a self terminal in a code division multiple access(CDMA) system. If an incoming call with the set specific number exists, a mobile switching center(MSC) requests location information to a home location register(HLR). If a message requesting an object terminal number for changing an annexed function is transmitted, an announcement to input the object terminal number is notified. If a subscriber inputs the terminal number, the terminal number is transmitted to the HLR. If the HLR transmits a message requesting a password, a recorded announcement is notified to the subscriber. If the subscriber inputs the password, the password is transmitted to the HLR. If the HLR transmits a message requesting a feature code(FC) designating the change of an annexed service operation, the MSC delivers an announcement for inputting the FC to the subscriber. If the subscriber inputs the FC, the FC is transmitted to the HLR. The HLR receiving the information for the RFC function transmits a message indicating that information is successfully received from the subscriber, the MSC transmits the message to an originating subscriber. If the originating subscriber transmits a call release signal, calls are released. |
