<p>Body section radiography equipment is for moving objects, e.g. lung or hearth, producing a clearly defined laminograph with upper and lower layers extinguished by sliding X-ray tube and film carrier along a guide track during exposure. The X-ray tube (10) is coupled to a pneumatic drive (21) and to at least one of the drive's hydraulic brakes (8, 22) so that starting and stopping times are greatly reduced permitting fuller used track length. Pref. a pneumatically adjustable piston in a cylinder liner is provided in the drive (21) for the X-ray tube. This cylinder liner is built into the compressed gas reservoir and is open on the side acted upon by the gas when the radiograph is taken.</p> |
