Fibre feeding device is provided with a feeding table which is mounted for pivoting about an axis parallel to the axis of the feed roller. The table is also mounted for pivoting about an axis which is parallel with the direction of fibre supply. Universal pivoting of fibre supply table w.r.t. the feeding roller ensures uniform clamping pressure across the table.
