<p>Device is used for feeding strip material into processing machines, esp. into rolling mills used to mfr. fine strip. Strip transporter which can be driven towards the inlet side of the rolling mill is used. The transporter can pref. also be moved at 90 degrees to the direction of strip travel, and is fitted with a vacuum strip holder using suction heads which extend across the width of the strip. Alternatively, the transported can be fitted with a conveyor belt using suction to carry the strip to the inlet side of the mill. Used for feeding fine strip or foil, e.g. 12 um thick withotu distortion or bending of the strip.</p> |
